RICHARD VANE (Co-Producer)

Snow Falling on Cedars is the fourth film that co-producer Richard Vane has produced in association with Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. Vane had previously produced Arachnophobia and Harry and the Hendersons, and co-produced Steven Spielberg's Always with Kennedy and Marshall.

Prior to Snow Falling on Cedars, Vane was the executive producer of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Christmas comedy Jingle All The Way. He was also the executive producer of The Phantom.

As the head of production for John Hughes' Hughes Entertainment, Vane produced Dennis the Menace, Baby's Day Out and Dutch. He was the executive producer of director Chris Columbus' Home Alone 2.

Vane began his producing career on director Nick Castle's The Boy Who Could Fly. He was also the producer of Castle's film Tap, starring Gregory Hines.
